Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines

Someone. No scratch that. Lots of people warned this would not work more than 1fps on DX 7 hardware. Well, it does and it goes smoothly :D

The only hiccup i've encountered that causes 1fps (or more likley 0.1fps) is when a script starts that causes 4 or more people to fire a gun at exactly the same time! After the first blast second shots become more staggered and my PC can keep up :D No problen running around with a katana slicing things up though :D

Ooooh! Ooooh! I found a CROSSBOW :D~~~~~~~

Okay. This is a RPG-FPS hybrid. And one that WORKS! Yee-haw i'm having great fun running around the city doing quests, feasting on necks and trying not to get caught :)

Give it a shot for those who liked classics like deus-ex (the origional one).


Downsides?
1) non-important NPC charachers have nothing to say? a few lines out of a random selector would of been good.
2) some levels look a little empty, guess it was the office repossesion that inspired troika for that : 3) A nifty rule-system, and its not d20!

Anyway, i'm about 20 hours into it, around the half-way point. (this would be MUCH MUCH less if i skipped the side-quests).

Its a pitty on what happened, MORE FUNDING from Mr. Activision and more time could o done wonders, but hey not many people like this type of RPG anymore :~(

SWAT 4

Slow paced tactical combat!

Kinda like a militaristic teambased Thief game.

Note: Showed a few people this one. They went gung-ho and stormed the levels, got shot twice and died.

Would be funny except they bitched that it was not like quake and they should be able to play the thing how they want.

5 years of slapping myself for getting the SHITFEST "Blast Chamber" can now be forgotten!

Even better! It has the voice of Frank Welker, an Tress McNiell (along with other people I kow of but can't recall names at the moment)


Picked up Gauntlet Legends to play on my (tobe) brother-in-laws Dreamcast.

Rather neat game. Allthough like all games the singel character screen will have each play trying to go their own way on the map and being halted by draw limits :P

Got lunch today, after leaving the store almost bumped into to women with their toungs own each others throats and hands groping eatch others sides near the new butchers.

I mean, COME ON! If your going to do that at least get out of my way its darn hot outside and I wanna get home and relax from work-stress.

Hmmmm. Should check out what types of chicken they do there, coles has not had much apart from plum and honey (YUCK!)
