WEDNESDAY: DAY 6 of OCTOBER
Fun Facts About Norton Internet Security 2005
1) Occult / Newage is banned by default on Parent-Watch
Now Dictionary.com tells me
Occult:
- Of, relating to, or dealing with supernatural influences, agencies, or phenomena.
New Age:
- Of or relating to a complex of spiritual and consciousness-raising movements originating in the 1980s and covering a range of themes from a belief in spiritualism and reincarnation to advocacy of holistic approaches to health and ecology.

Excuse me but is this not quite simmilar to religion ?? Which is not banned by default! I mean what if my kids (heaven forbid) look up some cooky religion thats not quite New-Age or the occult!
[/sarcasm]
I'm quite dissapointed that religious/belief bias exsists in this context! Thankfully I am an Pseudo-Athiest (I prefer the term, Non-Religious since i'm neither an Athiest or Agnostic) who choses to respect others beliefs but I will not adhear to them. Needless to say, I unchecked the box for this topic even though 'Parental Control' is set to off, since i'm the only one using it :P
I'f you are going to ban a belief system ban them all or ban none.
2) Hentai is a blocked newsgroup, good to see at least someone at Symantec is upto date. But really, there are only a minimal number of topics in the block list, and I can easilly think of many more. Some would have far more unappropiate content than this.
3) LiveUpdate removed from RMB menu on tray icon!
ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH!
Do you know how annoying it is waiting for the program to fully load so I can click on [Live Update]. A slower system makes this even more tedious! Please put it back!
In other news:
Petra, the greyhound had puppies, so far there be 6 survivors (1 died :( ), but there still could be 4 more. At least she dosent look like a labrador anymore :D
Hectic Hectic Hectic day it has been
