SUNDAY: DAY 10 of JULY

Attention: There are NO spoilers here, you can gather all this from the previews. Plus the origional is from the 1930's so there should be no surprises unless you live under a rock.

So, went to see "War of the Worlds" (wotw) today. Fairly good movie and re-creation/modernisation of the origional film.
Good FX when he buildings started to fall apart, but also fairly simple if you know abouts how they were done :P

Anyway my only annoyance is how unlikeable all the characters were, you simply cannot care for any of them and feel it would not matter if they would all die.
Plus its just s sequence of them running from the alien death ray.

Death ray looks like a Neutron weapon ? Vaporises organic material but leaves their clothing intack. Bwahahaha.

So, go see it if you feel like a Action-SF film but remember, nothing beats the origional radio play.

I've also got the music stuck in my head, Jeff Waynes music that is (Hope I gots the name right). Which dissapoitingly was not present in the film!

But, its not just the rock-musical version, it appears to have made a hybrid of itself with Rob Hubbards "Lightforce"

Nifty........... and also really annoying after several hours.


STOP IT BRAIN! LEAVE ME TO THINK WITHOUT HUMMING THE TWO TUNES!
