Yes, its crap but I can’t afford a decent card, however I noticed something today...

Upon having Windows-Update install some new drivers, the two rear speakers of my z640 set produced only a slow quiet noise. Now they did originally duplicate the front speakers for 2 channel sound, ack!
Anyway a rollback of the drivers and they work again now.

and finally MS-Search

what a piece of CRAP! Even my enemy, Yahoo, produced far better and accurate results for some things I searched for. I guess i'm sticking with google for now.
Note I origionally used Excite and Lycos in the mid 1990's and moved to Yahoo around 1999 then google in 2002. If MS can clean things up and give me what I want, not what they think i might possibly want if I were looking for what they think I am looking for (blah blah, prefered sites and MS linked products) I could use their engine.


Ads are blocked out with my mind (knowing what they are and where they are) and an ad-blocker, I have only clicked on a ad once (since 1996!), and that was because it was for the site I was seeking. Allthough I never purchased anything from said site. Its the way it has to be and I accept unobtrusive adverts. CH:7 (TV station) is the ultimate evil, with pop-up ads during their popular (hah!) programs.
