How long has it been.

I dunno.

Not much to say really folks. The internet takes a dive due to me being busy.

Oh not really: Check out my freaky alternative alias subculture postings over on S****s

I'm not going to bother listing updates of programs anymore: you should keep up yourself.

I want to get back to composing musics. It's been YEARS!

Some shits also now use the alias Lurios, they now fill most of the google results. Ahhh, to be back in the early days of the internet when you made up 90% of the hits... Hell, Once I had them all.

I have been writing up something for a film project, with the idea from late night ranting with DebK. Go! Yes, it will be VIdeoGame like with out all the videogame rubbish that stuff gets done with now.

We're talking serious stuff now. We're talking big towering buildings rising into oblivion upon a desolate landscape now. Or something, the alt-side involved a Blair Witch, King of Spades, creepy silent non moving fursuit, shot in black and White, which is really monotone, fast paced user mashup thingy me bob.

Heck, it;s late, why am I online.

P'ah!

HP PSC 1610

Hmmm, that should be POS instead!

I've had nothing but trouble from this machine, and i've only used it to print about three things over the last few months!
Now it will not even start properly, and I can't appear to get a responce from HP Support Australia.

Looking around the web at all those 1 star reviews reminds me that things need to be researched properly. I feel bad for the people who purchased this for me.

So: A community service Announcment

HP IS CRAP

You know I mean it! I've used colour AND large bold text in this post!

My September Aims.

0) Improve some crappy spelling.

1) No longer use the word Tonne, it is not a SI unit. Also, Gramme is praticaly obsulete, so gram will be used instead.

2) Date should be written in ISO standard: today is: 2006-09-17 for example. I've been using 24 time for a while too, so this is just an extesion of that.

3) Push for greater understanding of Mass vs Weight: While I do 'weigh' 88 Kilograms, in actual fact my mass is 88 Kilograms. So I'm going to either reply with the word 'Body Weight' or give them an anwser in Newtons! That is to say: 862 Newtons.

That is because Earth-Gravity is 9.8 Folks! (Or at least, as close as we can do without a huge amount of decimal places :P)

Personaly, I think this needs expanding...

On 2006-09-17T19:55:23 Sol.Earth-{G(mean)9.8} my weight was 862 Newtons.

Since we need to establish both Time Date and Location

So, We are on the Moon eh?

On 2006-09-17T19:55:23 Sol.Earth.Luna-{G(mean)1.6} my weight was 141 Newtons. Or a Mass of 88 Kilograms.

And we can now all go Woo!

BLOG: 00123

So, some bastard linked me a 'petals around the rose' game / puzzle / mind-bender of a thing.

You know? I just can't get it! Or at least the way you are meant to :P

So, Lets Get Mathmatical People, With Just A Dash Of Code!

------------------------------------------------------

/* Lurios accepts no responsibility if this code does not work in your compiler! */

int: total=0
int: array[1,5]

void main()
{
/* Set Petals */
for (i = 1, i < 5, i++)
array[1,i] = Rand_Int(6)

/* count petals */
for (i = 1, i < 5, i++){
if array[1,i] ISEVEN
total = total + 0
Else if array[1,i] ISODD
total = total + array[1,i] - 1
}

print{"Number of Petals Around the Rose:" %d, total)
}

(You know, I corrected this solution twice because I kept forgetting to use 'i' in places :P)
------------------------------------------------------

Now, this is not the solution. Or so I have been told, yet the anwser will be correct none-the-less. Also, if one were to use die with more sides, the result will also be true!.

Damn! Some Uni Infinite Sets Logic actualy came into play! And I thought it all hard and unuseful!

Now excuse me, there is someone I have to go hack limbs off of! >:|

So, I had a feeling something was happening over at Valve land.

There is a DoD free weekend happening this weekend, if you like MP games I hear it's actually quite good! The Free period is actually four days (i'm guessing inclusive), and it lets you preload all the content to purchase later.

What Interests me is the other two releases.

Strategy First, a group who do a LOT of strategy games has released Disciples 2 and Jaggered Alliance 2, both in GOLD packs. Basically this means all the expansions included.

This does include that somewhat hard to find in Australian stores "Elves Campaign" for D2.

Now, I allready have some Disciples 2 from one of Strategy First's 6pack deals, but i'm still considering getting it and passing my 6pack copy along to another turn based mad person I know. Jaggered Alliance also gets a few raves, and I do recall the demo from long ago.

Still, at $29USD for the lot of them and the exchange rate at the moment makes it a $40+ purchase in AUD, and since it cost me $46AUD to fill up the car today, it will have to wait until next week.

Now, Onto New Zealand.

Yes, those people over the ocean from us. Now, being that we make fun of one another (all in good fun mind you) you might be wondering why i'm going to promote the little country a bit.

Well....

A number of NZ companies operate in Australia.

They have Free Shipping too.

Because its all wearhouse stock, you can get it with close to little markup, No third party involved.

NO GST!

Yes! I don't have to pay an extra 10% tax to howard just because I ordered something to read :P

All bonuses if you ask me :D

So, three cheers to New Zealand! May you provide me with cheap goods from now until someone decides that they want money off that too :P
